Save Our Selves (SOS), was created as a forum to discuss issues plaguing the black community. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was integral at addressing such issues so in honor of Black History Month, SOS revised Dr. King's "DREAM".

D: "Development"- To build our families and communities by establishing a foundation of intellect, spirituality, brotherhood, and self love.

R: "Representation"- To build our presence on college campuses, corporate boardrooms, and on Capitol Hill; and reduce our numbers in prisons, negative health statistics, and destructive media.

E: "Education"- To build our minds by understanding our past and prepare ourselves for our future by instilling a passion for knowledge.

A: "Affluence"- To build generational wealth by encouraging investment in appreciating assets, entrepreneurship, and supporting black owned businesses.

M: "Metamorphosis"- To continually elevate our expectations, perceptions of possibility, and re-orient our focus toward empowerment.
